the DC proposal - gabi & cat
the only time i was more nervous about a proposal was when i asked my wife tammy to marry me. gabi contacted me to take engagement photos of he and his soon to be fiance, cat, with a special twist to the request...not only would i surprise his fiance by giving her & gabi an exclusive photography lesson as part of this special day but i would also help initiate the moment that would cue gabi to drop a knee and pop the question. whew what an honor! and of course as the best engagement stories go...she said "yes!" DC couldn't have been more stunning with the blend of fall colors enveloped in the magnificent scenic background of this couple's engagement spot.

Holy moley. These are some of the most amazing portraits of human beings I've ever seen. That last one is what I hope heaven looks like. I don't know how big you can make that - but I think I'll need a huge print of that someday. I LOVE IT.
