Gabi & Cat | Baltimore Wedding Photography

you may remember the awesome fall engagement photos from when gabi popped the big question to cat. david had the opportunity to not only take photos but also to be a part of their romantic proposal.

well now their anticipated wedding day had finally arrived and we were thrilled to be a part! after all, they had been together for 6+ years!! they couldn't have picked a more epic location for their wedding & reception than the historic castle style venue, St. John's Church of Baltimore. at every glance, one could appreciate the brilliant character & style which allowed us to almost overlook the fact that it hosted no AC on a hot summer day. thankfully there were giant fans and fun people that made you forget that sticky feeling.:) gabi and cat were an incredible couple surrounded by wonderful friends and family! by the end of the night, we walked away with many new awesome friends. thanks for finding us on facebook everyone! we hope we get to come back and visit you all soon!

gabi & cat - congrats on your marriage!! thanks for having us...you two rock!!

Wedding on the Outer Banks of NC | Drew and Kira

Tis the season for the beach & weddings. We had the privilege of coming back to the OBX to shoot the fabulous wedding of Kira & Drew! The weather was perfect as it is many days in the month of May on the Outer Banks. I (David) knew Kira in high school as she was a great friend of my older sister Melody. It's always fascinating to meet the person your friend decides to spend the rest of their life with. I wondered what Drew would be like since I hadn't met him in person yet...and of course, Drew is perfect for Kira! I love it when I get to see many friends I haven't seen in years all gather in one place. In some ways it was a mini-reunion. Their families and friends were simply wonderful and knew how to have a good ole' time!

The ceremony took place at St. Andrews by the Sea which was very special to Tammy and I because it was where we had our wedding reception 4 years ago! Drew and Kira's reception was at the stunning First Colony Inn outdoors under a lovely white tent.

The wedding was beautifully coordinated by Karen Kelly of Coastal Events.

Rick Ostlund and The Crowd Band had everybody dancing until the city noise ordinance made them stop!

Catering was provided by Kelly's Restaurant.

Dorothy Heath Morris from Bells and Whistles OBX arranged for the beautiful flowers and bouquets.

Congrats Kira & Drew! Thanks for having us! We wish you both the best in your marriage & careers as lawyers!
