John and Kirstin | Nashville Wedding

cowboy boots

amazing people
fun, fun & more fun...

what do they all have in common? john, kirstin and the wonderful people in their lives!

kirstin and john were so cheerful and welcoming that we immediately felt like old time friends! we loved that kirstin's surprise shoes were none other than some rad cowboy boots that she revealed to john right after the ceremony.:) he was impressed...what a creative and classic idea! the ceremony was held at vanderbilt's delectable benton chapel where of course a football was thrown around by the guys before the ceremony! everyone had a blast at their reception at the legendary country music hall of fame...the perfect location to go with the cowboy boots!;) leigh barker nailed every detail in planning this wedding and has actually just started her own event planning company in st. louis, mo. thanks to the logistical queens - leigh & kerren (both some of our amazing former brides) - for all of their help with everything!!!

such a charming fun-loving couple! cheers to john & kirstin!!!

CarryAnn of Fresh by CaryAnn did another stunning job with all the flowers and decorations.

Brent from Cosmo Creations DJ Services kept everyone dancing & kicking their heels up throughout the night.

Adam and Sommer | Houston Holiday Wedding

Happy New Year! We hope everyone had a wonderful holiday time spent with family and friends. (We'll do our best to post some photos from our Christmas/ New Year adventures soon.) For Christmas, we got to hang with Tammy's family in Houston and also had the opportunity to shoot Adam & Sommer's lovely wedding. Tammy knew Adam from youth group back in the day and enjoyed getting to reconnect with some past comrades and see Adam marry the beautiful girl of his dreams. Sommer was one of the sweetest brides ever and we were truly blessed by this couple's sincere love and appreciation for each other. Although they may have seemed a bit bashful at first, there were no restraints when it came to dancing and singing to each other at the reception as if no one else was around!:)

kudos to you both! we pray that you love and enjoy marriage with all of your hearts!!!

Funny sidenote: While the bride & bridesmaids were getting ready, the topic surfaced that the bride and her sister were twins.  During the discussion, the mother of the two announced that although the bride had always been told she was the oldest growing up, they may have just realized that her sister was actually now the eldest.  It was quite the humorous moment as the shocked sisters were not sure how to swallow this sudden proclamation of their new birth order.  We wonder what the final verdict was...

Here are some of our favorites from the day!
