Michael and Jennifer | Oxford, MS wedding

"what school is in oxford again?"... needless to say i quickly found out. what a lovely, friendly and quaint little town.

since my first meeting with jennifer, i knew this wedding was going to be one of my favorites... and it was! i took photos of the guys getting ready in what i think is safe to say "a real bachelor pad" while tammy took photos of the girls at jennifer's parents' beautifully restored plantation home where the ceremony and reception were held. jennifer's natural beauty was enhanced by the elegant gown & veil she delightfully sported from The Bride Room located in Nashville, TN. throughout the day, we were inspired by their love and devotion for each other which radiated from their sweet spirits and smiles. they really were such a charming couple!!!

michael & jennifer decided to have a special moment before the ceremony, which we always love it when they do! it can actually make their first moment seeing each other even more special because it gives the couple a few moments of alone time to talk and spend together on their wedding day. it is also great for us as photographers because it allows us to take most of the photos before all the events begin and allows everyone to relax and head straight to the party following the ceremony.

fun.
beautiful.
easygoing.
... we would love to go back.

Sam and Brittany | Kitty Hawk, NC Wedding

our hometown crowd celebrated sam & brittany's wedding while watching from the decks of the finch's breathtaking bayfront residence. we all stared straight into the setting sun as sam and brittany exchanged their vows. although it was beautiful, i was desperately wishing that i could wear sunglasses and take photos at the same time. (tammy took photos from the deck above me and actually was wearing sunglasses!)
the decks were overlooking the pool and i am sure my dad, as well as several of the guests, were restraining themselves from hopping over the railing and doing a cannon ball into the tempting serene pool water. beach folk.

when picking the colors for the wedding, it was a no brainer. RED, WHITE and BLUE. haha...brittany has always been very patriotric.

the event was catered by the amazing Red Sky Cafe... where brittany and all three of my sisters work or have worked at one time.

the flowers arrangements were of course by Harris Teeter.:)

DJ Bruce kept the party going til the moment sam announced that they were going to leave and end the night with a bang!
